Many people go through life without experiencing any light bulb moments. Whether it’s because you stop seeking something new and exciting, or you don’t believe you were made for more.
This one word is what changed everything for me.
I was halfway through yet another free webinar, notebook half-full of ideas I never implemented, sitting at a desk I didn’t love, in a job that no longer felt like mine. I kept telling myself I wanted more—more freedom, more income, more time.
But it dawned on me, that you can't want success and work at it like it's a hobby. You can't crave freedom while still thinking like an employee. You can’t claim to want "more" and continue giving the bare minimum.
That version of me was showing up inconsistently, posting once a week, scared to be seen. She dreamed big but was acting small. She was waiting for external motivation, and she was playing it safe.
And then one day, I looked in the mirror and asked myself:
Who am I becoming?
Not who I claimed to be. Not who I envisioned five years from that moment. But who I was actually becoming through my habits, choices, and mindset.
And I realized something powerful: The difference between those who make it and those who don't? It's not talent, not luck. It's not even timing.
It's obsession.
Yes, I said it. Obsession. That word we’re taught to fear. But obsession, when pointed in the right direction, is the fuel for greatness. Not an unhealthy, burnout-driven hustle. I’m talking about being deeply, unshakably obsessed with your mission. With your purpose. With your vision for the life you're building.
That was five years ago! I became obsessed with building something bigger than a business. Bigger than a brand. I wanted to build a life that felt like mine. One that aligned with my values. One that gave me freedom to be present with the people I love, to travel, to wake up excited every single day. But most of all help other women.
And the most uplifting thing is when you become obsessed with your future, your past loses its power. And your excuses shrink; while your clarity expands.
So guess what… the woman I am today doesn’t show up when she feels like it. She shows up because she’s on a mission. And isn’t afraid of what others think. I’m no longer afraid of living the same year over and over again, and calling it a life.
Is this the woman you want to be?
Because I no longer look for the easy road. And you can create systems that allow you to work smart and are more aligned with impact.
Being obsessed is building legacy-level work, with that level of integrity that serves others.
So I’m curious: Are you dabbling in your dreams, or are you devoted to them?
Because the woman who’s going to hit $10K months and beyond, plus design a business that sets her free? She’s obsessed. Not with numbers, but with her why. With the women she’s here to help. And with the impact she knows she’s meant to have.
If you’re waiting for motivation, then I hope this post will give you that nudge, because no-one is coming to give you permission. But if you know you’re meant to help others, you’ll do everything you have to, to become the kind of woman who shows up before she feels ready.
You have to become the kind of woman who is obsessed with becoming who she knows she’s meant to be. And forget about what anyone else thinks, because obsession isn’t the enemy. Playing small is.
If you’re ready to stop dabbling and start building your dream business with intention and income—start now. Your obsession is not too much. It’s the driving force.
And I’ll be right here, to support you as you unlock it.
